Meet Susie Q
It all began with an Easy Bake Oven and a very kind and patient big brother who would try Susie’s creations. Following a bread apprenticeship in Cohasset MA Susie found her passion for baking but especially for creating bespoke cakes.
Life went in many directions building a career in sales, raising children and embracing all the twists and turns. Through it all she never lost her love of cakes. That creative spark didn’t disappear. It simply waited for its moment.
In 2020 she found her way back to the work that makes her heart happy. What started as a passion grew into something bigger; a little Cakery built on creativity, connection, and the belief that cake is so much more than dessert.
In the past 6 years, with the love and encouragement of so many friends, family and clients who have become both, the Cakery has created edible art, celebrated sweet moments and it is just getting going!
